Avengers: Infinity War Smash Singapore Box Office Records

Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Infinity War has smashed the local box office over its opening weekend raking in S$5.26 million -the biggest opening weekend of all time in Singapore. The cinematic journey, ten years in the making with the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe is also estimated to have made US$630 million in the biggest global opening in history, smashing last year’s record held by The Fate of The Furious. Thanos will be pleased.

Marvel Studios’ Black Panther is still the #1 title of 2018, making S$9.7 million in Singapore. With this record opening, Avengers: Infinity War is expected to surpass Black Panther to become the #1 film of 2018.

The All-Time Top 3 Marvel films in Singapore are The Avengers (S$13.73 million), Avengers: Age of Ultron (S$13.11 million) and Iron Man 3 (S$12.64 million).

Avengers: Infinity War is now showing in cinemas.
