What a lovely sight! There are many bright orangish balls of light descending slowly across the dark night sky. Are they fireflies?

This particular scene strongly reminds me of Skyline (2010), and you might agree with me after watching The Darkest Hour movie trailer, which has just been unveiled yesterday.

THE DARKEST HOUR, directed by Chris Gorak (Right at Your Door), tells the story of five young people who find themselves stranded in Moscow, fighting to survive in the wake of a devastating alien attack. This 3D thriller is said to also highlights the classic beauty of Moscow alongside mind-blowing special effects.

You've got the message. They're here to seize the planet, devour all the energy and destroy all life. They are invisible and seem to be rather invulnerable to physical attacks. I wonder how the movie might possibly end..

THE DARKEST HOUR is opening in Singapore 5 January 2012 and is also available in 3D.
