Halloween is upon us!
The new reboot of John Carpenter's cult classic 'Halloween', also titled 'Halloween', was released in theatres in the US on 19 October.
So far, it has grossed US$77.5 million, making it the second highest grossing horror film after the Stephen King adaptation 'It' (US$123 million).
Critics have also given the film, which stars Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie Strode and is directed by acclaimed director David Gordon Green ('George Washington', 'Stronger') and produced by horror maestro producer Jason Blum ('Paranormal Activity', 'Insidious'), their stamp of approval.
A critic even said that
"Finally, Hollywood has made a good “Halloween” sequel."
'Halloween' will plunge its knife into cinemas here on 25 October.
