Beyonce’s new original song, “Spirit” for The Lion King is what we need this week

All hail Queen Bey for her new song, titled “Spirit”, written and performed for Disney’s upcoming remake “The Lion King” which she also voices the character Nala. Needless to say, it’s fabulously good. 

“Spirit” is the first single from a brand new album produced and curated by Beyonce herself which will most probably drop next week alongside the movie’s premiere. The album, “The Lion King: The Gift” is a compilation album of songs inspired by the film. 

We are not surprised if this is going to be in the Best Original Song Oscar race in 2020.
