Jurassic World director Colin Trevorrow has announced that the original cast of Jurassic Park, Laura Dern, Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum, will reprise their roles in the upcoming Jurassic World sequel.
The trio first appeared together in Jurassic Park in 1993, and then in the following two sequels, The Lost World and Jurassic Park III.
However, the trio did not appear in the follow-up franchise Jurassic World, except Goldblum in 2018’s Fallen Kingdom, although it was a small role.
Exact plot details of Jurassic World 3 remains under wraps. The sequel is expected to launch in June 2021.
In the meantime, to sate the carnivorous appetite of fans, Trevorrow has recently released the short film Battle at Big Rock.
Set one year after Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, where dinosaurs are now living in our world, Battle at Big Rock follows a family of four trying to survive an encounter with dinosaurs.
