Bollywood Actor Irrfan Khan Dies At Age 53

We are sad to present the news of Bollywood actor, Irrfan Khan’s death at the age of 53. With unparalleled acting abilities, he was applauded for being one of India’s most talented actors.

In 2018, the actor revealed that he was diagnosed with an endocrine tumour, a rare illness. After announcing his illness to the public, Khan wrote an open letter about his experience with the cancer treatment, reflecting on the "intensity" of his pain and the "uncertainty" of life.

After a long battle, Khan succumbed to the illness when he was undergoing treatment in a London hospital for the illness which affected his cells that release hormones into the bloodstream. Khan’s PR company released a statement confirming his death stating: 

"Surrounded by his love, his family for whom he most cared about, he left for heaven abode, leaving behind truly a legacy of his own. We all pray and hope that he is at peace".
