Netflix Is Preparing A New Female-Led Action Movie

With the success of Extraction, it is not a surprise that Netflix is planning for other action movies! Extraction, starring Chris Hemsworth (Thor: Ragnarok), broke the most-watch premiere milestone earlier this month. The streaming platform is striking while the iron is hot by lining up big names for more action-packed films. Netflix has now enlisted Jessica Alba for an upcoming movie titled, ‘Trigger Warning’.

The Fantastic Four actress will be playing the lead role cum executive producer in the action thriller film. Jessica Alba will be portraying the role of a veteran who inherits her grandfather’s bar, and she will face a “moral dilemma” after realising how her grandfather unexpected died.

Jessica Alba has been working on various side projects so it will be exciting to see the actress take up a high-profile movie years after her iconic appearances in the Sin City and Fantastic Four. Jessica Alba recently made a comeback for Spectrum’s Bad Boys spinoff series L.A.’s Finest alongside Gabrielle Union.

If ‘Trigger Warning’ does well, it could be the beginning of a Netflix franchise for Jessica Alba so we will have to wait and see how the film fare upon its release.
