Sony Pictures is rumoured to be developing a new project based on one of the studio's Marvel properties. Currently, they are in talks with
S.J. Clarkson
to direct the film, and although nothing is confirmed, many are speculating that it will be a female-focused character film.
S.J. Clarkson is known for her work where she directed episodes of Netflix's
Jessica Jones
, HBO's
Succession
and
Showtime's Dexter
. She was supposedly confirmed to direct the fourth Star Trek film instalment, but it fell apart when contract negotiations between stars Chris Pine, Chris Hemsworth and studio Paramount wasn't successful.
If speculations are correct, the film could potentially be Sony's first female-focused Marvel movie. Which female character can be the star of the new film? Let us know in the comments below!
