Netflix is set to premiere a new romantic comedy series this fall!

Netflix has recently announced that they are set to exclusively release a new romantic comedy series on its streaming services this fall! The series, Emily In Paris is created, written and executive produced by Darren Star and will star Lily Collins in the titular role of Emily. Collins will also do double duty and serve as producer on the series.

Emily in Paris follows Emily, an ambitious twenty-something marketing executive from Chicago, who unexpectedly lands her dream job in Paris when her company acquires a French luxury marketing company — and she is tasked with revamping their social media strategy. Emily's new life in Paris is filled with intoxicating adventures and surprising challenges  as she juggles winning over her work colleagues, making friends, and navigating new romances. 



Ashley Park of Mean Girls on Broadway fame also stars alongside Collins with Philippine Leroy Beaulieu (Call My Agent!), Lucas Bravo (Smart Ass), Samuel Arnold (Antony & Cleopatra), Camille Razat (The 15:17 to Paris) and Bruno Gouery (Doc Martin) rounding up the rest of the cast. Kate Walsh (The Umbrella Academy), William Abadie (Resident Evil: Extinction) and Arnaud Viard (Clara et Moi) are set to have recurring roles on the series.

The series was filmed entirely on location in the city of love itself and throughout France so we can be assured that the romantic part of the series is well taken care of.

Emily in Paris has yet to have a fixed release date but it won't long be before we find out. Stay tuned!
