Revisiting the Best Scenes from The Conjuring (2013)

The Conjuring
(2013) stars Vera Farmiga, Patrick Wilson and Lili Taylor. It foretells The Perron family who moves into a farmhouse where they experience paranormal phenomena. They consult demonologists, Ed and Lorraine Warren, to help them get rid of the evil entity haunting them.
Following the popularity of the first film, the franchise went on to produce two more films:
The Conjuring 2
(2016), and
The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It
, which was released this year. The first series, out of the three, somehow hits differently. Despite the fact that the first film series was released many years ago, there are scenes from it that have stayed with me to this day.
I wondered who thought it was a good idea to live in a house that appeared to be haunted. Furthermore, who in their right mind would bring their family to live in the middle of nowhere? However, we do know that some people love having their own sanctuary, so that could be the case.
Fasten your seatbelts, for this households secrets from the past that threaten the Perron family. I'd like to share some of the scenes that I feel many of us remember because they were so bizarre.
Here are some of the scenes I certainly found disturbing:
*WARNING*
Please watch with caution.
1) Hide and Clap
Carolyn and her children like playing the “Hide and Clap” game, which is a family favorite. However, one night, while everyone was in bed, their mother, Carolyn, mistook one of her children for a prankster. She had no idea it wasn't one of her daughters. This sequence is obviously essential because it marks the official start of something evil.
2) She’s feeding off of her
Lorraine discovered that the witch is actually feeding off Carolyn in this scenario. Hence, the reason why Carolyn has bruises on her body. This skin-crawling event was especially amusing because the purported spirit appeared by snatching Carolyn's daughter's hair and tugging her around. This increases the overall level of adrenaline in the scene.
3) The Witch Will Kill Her
Carolyn was terrified as she attempted everything she could to avoid being consumed by the witch who had taken possession of her body. In some ways, this and the following scenes which I will share are quite raw and realistic. It holds and conveys a load of emotions. Terrifying, emotional, the feeling as if you're going to lose your life all in one.

4) I Condemn You Back To Hell
Perhaps, just maybe, some of us were emotional as we watched Carolyn battle the spirit within her own body. The overexplosion in depths of emotion brought in this scene sent chills down my spine. Especially when Lorraine assisted Carolyn in recalling the memories she had shared about her beautiful children and husband. At the end of the day, they're trying to get better for their family because this is interfering with their daily lives.

5) Andrea and Cindy Bedroom Scene
A personal favorite scene would certainly be this one! This scene, in particular, continues to bother me to this day. It is, nevertheless, intriguing rather than haunting. Bathsheba, a female witch, is played by Joseph Bishara in the film The Conjuring. His acting was fantastic, and I adored it.
Some of us conceal our eyes while watching horror movies, while others are bold enough to watch everything. Lorrain and Ed Warren aided in the creation of The Conjuring franchise, which was based on genuine events.
This film is not your typical traditional horror film. It certainly caused a new wave in the horror film genre back when it was released in 2013. Demonstrating that exorcism does occur, and that no matter how much we want to deny it, it's best to get treatment. It's not a simple math formula when it comes to demons and spirits. It's a battle between us and the demons who encircle us. One thing to keep in mind is that these things might have a direct impact as our daily activities. This film franchise did a fantastic job of portraying it. Carolyn and Roger Perren's connection is something I'd like to bring up. Family ties may eventually crumble as a result of the invasion of disturbances caused by demons and spirits. They banded together as a family to try to put an end to the haunting.
The fact that the film franchise was based on the reality of certain people is quite terrifying.
If you enjoy horror flicks, you will want to watch this one again and again. It will not tire you no matter how many times you watch it.
