Fun Facts About Netflix's 'Red Notice'

Red Notice is an epic, globe-trotting heist adventure where no one is as they seem, and no alliance is built to last. Written and directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber (We're the Millers, Central Intelligence), the action-comedy stars powerhouse A-listers Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), Dwayne Johnson (Jumanji franchise, Disney's Jungle Cruise), and Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool, Free Guy).
Here are some fun facts to know about the film:
1. Red Notice marks the 3rd time director Rawson Marshall Thurber and star Dwayne Johnson have worked together.
Thurber and Johnson had previously worked on Central Intelligence (2016) and Skyscraper (2018), both of which were written and directed by Thurber and starred Johnson.
2. Gal Gadot, Dwayne Johnson and Ryan Reynolds' off-screen friendship and camaraderie is the exact same thing you're seeing on screen.
Johnson and Reynolds have been friends for over 20 years, while Gadot and Reynolds have known each other for almost 10 years.
3. The sequence in the chapel prison where was the first time Gadot, Johnson and Reynolds had shot together in one room.
4. Gadot makes her debut villainous role in this film.
The actress said:
As an actor, you want to be able to explore different colors and different qualities in the characters that you play. And this one certainly gave me this opportunity and I super enjoy portraying The Bishop.
5. Johnson is a ballerina with the lightest feet.
Gadot who has a dancing scene with Johnson was initially skeptical of her co-star’s abilities, considering his mass and built, but all her worries went out the window when she found out about the actor’s (not so hidden) talent.
6. A lot of Reynolds’ jokes in the film are improvised.
If you catch yourself laughing at the funny quips he makes, there’s a high chance he wrote that joke. But there’s a higher chance he forgot what he even said.
I write eight or nine options for each joke and I leave it to the editor and the director just to decide which ones they feel are suitable for the movie.
7. Gal Gadot is the best fighter out of the three.
According to her co-star Reynolds:
Gal is very elegant, very flexible, and clearly has some significant training in this.
