Postponed from its initial September 2023 airtime due to the actors' and writers' strikes, the 2023 Emmy Awards took place on 15 January 2024. The ceremony celebrated the best of American prime time television programming from 1 June 2022 until 31 May 2023 with three shows dominating the night:
