The Chinese hit comedy 'Successor' will open in cinemas this August!

The Chinese hit comedy film, SUCCESSOR, is coming to local cinemas 8 August, courtesy of Shaw Organisation!
The smash box office hit has been topping the China box office since its opening day. The film raked in over RMB 358 million from previews, ranking third worldwide at the weekend. It is also the highest opening in 2024 for a non-CNY film, grossing over RMB 650 million on its opening day. Since its release, Successor has now crossed the RMB 1.77 billion mark in 9 days!
Directed by the team behind Goodbye Mr. Loser – Yan Fei 闫非 and Peng Da-mo 彭大魔 – Successor is led by Shen Teng 沈腾 and Ma Li 马丽.
