Hans Zimmer & Friends: Diamond in the Desert is more than a concert film, it’s a rare, behind-the-scenes journey into the mind of one of the world’s most celebrated film composers.

Filmed across multiple iconic locations in Dubai, from the Coca-Cola Arena to the Al Wasl Plaza dome and the sweeping Arabian Desert, the film presents an immersive performance of Zimmer’s most celebrated works. Dune. Gladiator. Interstellar. The Lion King. Every note carries emotional weight, cinematic memory, and a sense of scale only Zimmer can orchestrate. At the heart of the film is a creative portrait of collaboration. Directed by Emmy-winning and Grammy-nominated Paul Dugdale, Diamond in the Desert features intimate conversations with Zimmer’s long-time collaborators and fans including Billie Eilish, Sir Christopher Nolan, Denis Villeneuve, Finneas, Pharrell Williams, Jerry Bruckheimer, Johnny Marr, Tanya Lapointe, Timothée Chalamet, and Zendaya.
