Catch "bikini girl" Chrissie Chau in BEACH SPIKE on Celestial Movies!

By InCinemas  /  06 Feb 2012 (Monday)

Catch Beach Spike, the new film starring Chrissie Chau, on Celestial Movies (Starhub Cable TV Ch 868) this Sunday 5 February at 9:00PM!

Chau, who melted Hong Kong with her perfect, sexy body, not surprisingly dons a bikini in her latest feature, as she plays a beach volleyball girl in a drama directed by Tony Tang.

Besides this Sunday, there are three other time slots to catch the film on Celestial Movies:

Tuesday 7 February, 10:50PM

Saturday 11 February, 10:10AM

Friday 24 February, 7:15PM

Chau also granted a phone interview with InCinemas, and we are happy to share with you what she said during the interview!

Chau revealed that when she was in Secondary School, she had tried out a bit of volleyball, so it was like returning back to the past when she had to re-learn how to play the sport for the film shoot. When asked what other sports does she engage in, she said she loved to jog and occasionally swam in the summer.

Chau also told us about the recent launch of her new lingerie line, ShowNa Collection. She hoped that her business would grow, and that people who were interested could purchase the products online. When InCinemas asked whether she would focus on her lingerie line or acting in the future, she said, "I will make acting in films a priority, since this is the first time I am doing a business, so I will be more cautious in that area."

The beautiful Chau also talked about working with actor Law Chun Him, whom she found a bit strange, but after getting to know him better, she found him thoughtful and warm-hearted.

Synopsis: On the scenic beach of Paradise Cove, Sharon (Chrissie Chau) and Rachel (Theresa Fu) work at the restaurant of their martial artist uncle (Monk Law), and are avid players of beach volleyball.

Their carefree days are over when the wealthy Mrs. Brewer (Candice Yu) plans to acquire the land and develop it into a holiday resort, which is met with strong opposition from the residents. Even Mrs. Brewer's son Tim (Law Chun Him), who has fallen in love with Sharon, openly defies her.

Then both sides agree to settle the dispute by beach volleyball - the locals' team will enter an upcoming tournament against Mrs. Brewer's daughters Natalie (Jessica C.) and Natasha (Phoenix Valen), and whoever wins decides the fate of Paradise Cove...

Selling Points: Beach Spike is directed by Tony Tang, it involves a female beach volleyball team with martial arts skills, starring hot model Chrissie Chau, Theresa Fu and Jessica C..

While acting chops may not be one of their strengths, the girls received three months of athletic training prior to filming, and they are covered by a pleasant supporting cast made up of Him Law, Lam Suet, Candice Yu, Sharon Yang, Alex Lam, Philip Ng, and Shaw martial arts legend Monk Law.

Combining an inspiring sports theme with some lighthearted youthful romantic comedy, and even throwing Chinese kung fu into the mix a la Shaolin Soccer, director Tony Tang scores a winner in his live-action directorial debut after the animated film Little Gobie 3D.

Don't miss Beach Spike on Celestial Movies this Sunday 5 February, 9:00PM!
