Hong Kong actress Charmaine Sheh (佘诗曼) was here in Singapore on Sunday 26 February to promote Eversoft Infinite skin care and beauty products. She arrived at about 3pm to the screams and cheers of fans who had been waiting at the atrium of Serangoon nex level 1 since early in the morning to see their favourite star.
Crowd were surrounding near the corridor where she was expected to appear and a narrow invisible path was formed and lined up for Charmaine Sheh to make her way up on stage. But when she turned up, everyone was enthusiastic to catch a glimpse of their favourite idol who was apparently pleased to be greeted by fans in Singapore!
Known for her roles in TVB dramas such as 'Return of the Cuckoo' <<十月初五的月光>>, 'Country Spirit' <<酒是故鄉醇>>, and 'Can't Buy Me Love' <<公主嫁到>>, the lively Charmaine happily answered questions from the host on stage, while hundreds of excited fans look on from around and above the stage!
"Singapore is a fun place to be. There is nice food to eat, and the country is very clean," said Charmaine. When asked by the host what she had eaten for lunch, she replied, "Hainanese chicken rice!" She also added, "I don't eat beef. But I do eat fried food, and food that is slightly spicy."

Since Charmaine was here to promote Eversoft Infinite products, the host took the opportunity to ask her some of her beauty habits. "On the days of filming, I will wake up very early like 5am to put on Eversoft skin care products. After filming for the day is done, I will also do the same."
The host then asked her how long she usually takes to put on the Eversoft products. "Ten minutes!", Charmaine revealed. "My favourite one is the Youth Recall Serum, which helps to remove wrinkles in two to three weeks."
During the event, Charmaine signed her autograph on the large Eversoft banner behind her as cameras from all corners clicked away.
Charmaine's aim is to remain beautiful in years to come, and she hoped that in June or July this year she would have some time to rest after taking up a few acting projects in the next few months. "Judging by the enthusiastic crowd here this afternoon, I want to come back to Singapore again this year!", she said and thanked everyone for their tremendous support.
