Featuring 32 artistes of SM Town including BoA, Kangta, Super Junior, Girls’ Generation, TVXQ, SHINee and f(x), I AM. follows the singers as they prepare for their ‘live’ performance on 23 October 2011 at one of the world’s most prestigious concert venues: Madison Square Garden in New York.

Alongside footages from the New York concert, I AM. takes a glimpse into the 32 SM artsites’ younger days as trainees leading up to the present.

I AM.'s production crew went through the vast archive of 4,824 tapes and 4,415 video clips from SM Entertainment and Mnet video library over the period of 5 months to obtain materials for the movie. Footages of their auditions, trainee days, and never-seen-before interviews up until their successful concert in New York will be revealed.
