MARVEL'S THE AVENGERS, the all-time #1 movie in Singapore, will be made available on Blu-Ray 3D, Blu-Ray Discs and DVDs this coming 29 August 2012! And thanks to its director Joss Whedon, who has revealed the additional juice fans can expect in its Blu-Ray edition, it seems almost impossible to give this a miss! What if you were told that the movie you watched back in May isn't the full version?

Important update: Marvel has announced that Joss Whedon will return to write and direct the "Avengers" sequel, which is slated for release on 1 May 2015! Isn't that great?!

What we've watched in theatres back in May isn't exactly the 'full' version of what was intended for Marvel's The Avengers. According to The Playlist, director Joss Whedon had confirmed that his "assembly cut" of the film was three hours long!

So how many minutes of the deleted scenes can we expect from the upcoming Blu-Ray Disc?
In reply, Joss Whedon promised at least 30 minutes worth of footage.

At least some of that will be made up of a sequence inside Captain America's New York apartment showing him not relating to the world, with Whedon saying that most of those deleted scenes would be full of more ancillary character based stuff.
