Henry Thia and Liu Ling Ling crack us up at 'My Dog Dou Dou' Gala Premiere
By InCinemas / 19 Sep 2012 (Wednesday)
InCinemas was there at My Dog Dou Dou Gala Premiere last night and was pretty much entertained by our local comedians Henry Thia and Liu Ling Ling, both of whom have a part in the first local dog movie featuring Flapper, the Labrador-Retriever.
The two veterans never fail to inject laughter into the crowd as they talk about their roles in the movie. It was hilarious even as they leave the stage. Ling Ling, wearing
high heels, was given support when getting down the steps and Henry
copied her movements, also putting out his hand for support, giving us lots of fun filled entertainment.
- In the movie, Henry plays a seemingly rich man who doesn't seem to like his dog
(Flapper) but later yearns to have it back after finding out that the
dog has the ability of predicting 4D numbers. On the other hand, Ling
Ling plays Meng's good friend cum boss of a vehicle repair shop.
Jason Wang, known for his righteous roles in The Spirits Of Love《爱》 and Night Market Life《夜市人生》, also demonstrated his sense of humour at the Cast appearance. When child actor Ivan Lo, previously starred in Jack Neo's We Not Naughty (opened earlier this
year), was asked about his thoughts on Jason Wang, Jason quickly cut in and 'warned' the him to speak properly, making Ivan laughed out innocently before giving praises and indicating that he's really glad to have acted with the renown Taiwanese actor.

The production team prepared a cake for Ivan in celebration of his upcoming birthday on 25 September, which also coincide with the date of birth of the
Labrador-Retriever, Flapper.
Not sure what to wish for after the birthday song, Henry
was seen whispering into the ears of the child actor after which he
laughed innocently into the microphone. Ultimately, it was revealed that his first two wishes, with credits going to Henry Thia, are the same - My Dog Dou Dou's box office number 1.
Stay tune at InCinemas as we'll be bringing more of Jason Wang tomorrow! Visit InCinemas Facebook for more photos of the events!
By the way, it's advisable to bring a piece of paper to write down the lucky 4D numbers when watching My Dog Dou Dou if you would like to 'buy a hope' after the movie.
MY DOG DOU DOU is rated PG and opens InCinemas 20 September 2012.
