Meet 'Taichi' actors, Tony Leung and Jayden Yuen, in Singapore on 1 October!

Director Stephen Fung, Actors Tony Leung Ka-Fai and Jayden Yuen XiaoChao in Singapore to promote the first 2 parts of the upcoming Kungfu Trilogy - 'Taichi 0' & 'Taichi Hero'



Singapore, 25th September – Hong Kong director Stephen Fung 冯德伦, award-winning veteran Hong Kong actor Tony Leung Ka-Fai 梁家辉 and Asian Games gold medalist Jayden Yuan Xiaochao 袁晓超 will be here in Singapore on 1 October 2012 to promote the first two parts of their latest edgy and funky kungfu trilogy – TAICHI 0 《太极1之从零开始》 and TAICHI HERO 《太极2之英雄崛起》!

Besides attending the press conference, the director and the two cast will also be making their one and only public appearance at the TAICHI Singapore Gala Premiere at the main atrium (level 1) of VivoCity!

Produced by Chen Kuo-fu 陈国富 (who previously did AFTERSHOCK, DETECTIVE DEE, PAINTED SKIN II) from Huayi Brothers 华宜兄弟, one of the biggest movie production company in China, TAICHI tells the story of unrecognized gifted child who earned recognition from the villagers as he used Taichi to defeat a extraordinary powerful enemy from the western creations, and story continues to get more interesting from there…



The movie features star-studded cast including Tony Leung Ka-Fai梁家辉, Angelababy 杨颖, Eddie Peng彭于晏, William Feng冯绍锋, with special appearances by Shu Qi 舒淇 and Daniel Wu 吴彦祖. TAICHI also marks Jayden Yuan’s debut as an actor. Well-known Hong Kong actor-director Sammo Hung 洪金宝 is the action director for the movie.

TAICHI 0 《太极1之从零开始》　and TAICHI HERO 《太极2之英雄崛起》 will be opening in Singapore on 4th October and 25th October respectively. The TAICHI trilogy is distributed in Singapore by Golden Village Pictures.
