Shaw Online recently made a challenge on their Facebook page and after having to meet their target (based on the increase in 'likes'), all movie-goers can now enjoy $5 off prevailing Shaw IMAX tickets from 11 October for 3 selected blockbuster movies*!

In anticipation for the 3 blockbuster movies, we've selected a youtube clip for each of the movies to convince you why you should probably consider to watch (or re-watch) them in IMAX while taking advantage of the $5 discount.

MARVEL'S THE AVENGERS
This 1 minute footage is arguably the 'best scene' in Marvel's The Avengers, featuring all of our favourite heroes, Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye defending our Earth from the alien invasion.You won't want to miss this out in IMAX 3D.

Admit it. You watched this 1 minute clip at least twice.

MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: GHOST PROTOCOL
Alternatively, have your palm sweat in Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol! Watch Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) scale Burj Khalifa, the tallest manmade structure in the world, at the height of 829.84 metres (2,723 ft)! Besides, this featurette below will show you that Tom Cruise did most of the daunting scenes all by himself! No doubles!

In addition, Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol features about 30 mins worth of scenes filmed using IMAX cameras!

THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN
Prefer a movie with some romance? How about the puppy love between Gwen Stacey (Emma Stone) and Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) in The Amazing Spider-Man? Heard that the 3D is pretty stunning in IMAX. You be the judge!
