Sequel to the All-Time Singapore Local Movie, Ah Boys To Men, opens 1 Feb 2013!

Jack Neo's AH BOYS TO MEN 《新兵正传》 has achieved record-breaking results at the local box office chart again! The movie grossed a total of S$6.06 million as of 20th December, finally breaking MONEY NO ENOUGH’s 14-year-old record (S$6.02 million) as the Singapore All Time local movie!

Following the record-breaking result for Ah Boys To Men, the producers are proud to announce that its sequel, AH BOYS TO MEN 2 《新兵正传 II》, will be screening in cinemas on 1 February 2013, Friday! Check out its first movie trailer and poster after the jump!

The opening date is shifted a week earlier from the previous date (7 Feb) so the audience and supporters of the movie will be able to catch the sequel before the Chinese New Year holidays.

The one-week earlier release comes as a good news for the supporters for Ah Boys To Men, especially for those who are eager to see how Ken Chow's change of heart to become an army officer would affect the people around him. The trailer below will give you a better idea.

On a side note, InCinemas was overwhelmed by the supporters for Ah Boys To Men during the ScreenSingapore red carpet events where Jack Neo and his boys were expected to turn up. We spoke to one of the fans who told us that she has caught the movie 7 times in theatres! Oh, she's a fan of youtuber Tosh Rock, who plays the Sergeant in the movie.

In the sequel, Famous blogger Mr Brown will be making a special guest appearance in the movie! From the trailer, he appears to be playing an officer scouting for potential recruits in SITuational Test (SIT Test) and you have there, Wayang King, trying to argue his way to join the exercise.
