It’s Your Chance to Suit Up and Become Iron Man!

Besides booking your tickets in advance for the anticipated blockbuster movie, Iron Man 3, now you can have a chance to become the man behind the special suit at the ‘Become Iron Man’ augmented reality event at Bugis Junction!

It’s a fun and exciting programme you won’t want to miss! Singapore fans will be able to take on the role of legendary comic book and movie hero Tony Stark as he tests the new Mark 42 armour for the final time before active service in the upcoming release of Marvel’s Iron Man 3.

InCinemas had a go at it and it made our anticipation for the movie grew even stronger! Now we really can’t wait for the opening of Iron Man 3 on 26 April!

Step onto the the deck and Stark Industries technicians will welcome you, teaching you the steps as you go along. Guided by Tony Stark’s computerised personal assistant Jarvis, it just made me feel like the real Iron man and a tad like Robert Downey Jr.

Firstly, we suit up and assemble the new Mark 42 armour. Watch your arms and legs being replaced by the gold-red suit and finally, the priceless feeling when you see the prominent gold mask floating in the air, ready to descend to its owner. That moment when the mask attaches to your face, that awe-inspiring sensation made me felt like a real superhero, ready to fight crimes and save the world.

The interesting segment came when it’s time to PARTY! Alright, perhaps just a short duration to flaunt your dance moves as Iron man. You can do body waves, shake your body and even dance to the robot dance. Remember to pose for a few pictures when you hear the camera ‘click’!

Enter Tony Stark’s workshop and before a superhero goes out on duty, he needs to train and learn to fight villains. While you, don’t really get to fight Iron Man’s arch enemy, you have to aim and shoot the repulsors as they emerge. Punching air with your palms has never been this fun!

It ain’t Iron Man if you can’t fly! Of course, the last segment of the augmented reality experience is the flight system! Navigate around the workshop with specific hand and body movements and you’re off to fight crimes!

Marvel’s IRON MAN 3 opens in Singapore cinemas on April 26th in 2D, 3D and IMAX 3D.
