Becoming the Superhero in New ‘Wonder Woman’ Trailer!

By Flora  /  13 Mar 2017 (Monday)

Warner Bros’. next superhero film Wonder Woman isn’t just about the female superhero kicking asses and saving the day. It’s an origin story that tells us about Princess Diana’s (Gal Gadot) background and the journey of the Themyscira princess-turned-warrior during the World War I.

In the new trailer, we see the tough training of the eponymous island princess who came to be the saviour of the world. It focuses on Diana and who she was before she became the superhero, and introduces more footage of the ladies on the island paradise where the Amazonia warrior trained.

Director Patty Jenkins had confirmed the rumours via a tweet that real-life champion boxer Ann Wolfe will be playing Artemis, the insanely strong, crossbow touting warrior who is an ally of the Amazonians.

Other cast members include Chris Pine, Robin Wright, Connie Nielsen, David Thewlis, Danny Huston, Elena Anaya, Ewen Bremner and Saïd Taghmaoui.

All eyes are on Wonder Woman after the box office defeats of ‘Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice’ and ‘Suicide Squad’. Will Wonder Woman save the day? We sure think so!

Wonder Woman opens InCinemas 1 June 2017!
