Meet Thor's Work Friend In 'Thor: Ragnarok' Teaser Trailer

By Freddy  /  11 Apr 2017 (Tuesday)

Marvel just dropped a teaser trailer for the anticipated ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ and it looks glorious.

It definitely does not feel like the previous Thor films, which take place mainly in Asgard and on Earth. This trailer does not show Earth at all and we barely see Asgard. We do see other planets and more comedic beats, which make this trailer feels more like ‘Guardians of The Galaxy’.

Can we talk about Hela (Cate Blanchett)? She effortlessly caught the Mjölnir and destroyed it with one hand.

Her otherworldly look and unparalleled power may spell doom for our heroes.

Another new character joining the cast is Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), seen dragging Thor (Chris Hemsworth) into the gladiator arena.

That is where the Mjölnir-less God of Thunder is pitted against “a friend from work”, The Incredible Hulk (Mark Ruffalo).

We also get glimpses of the highlight of every Thor movie, Loki (Tom Hiddleston). He does not do anything in the trailer but it is good to know he will be around, and possibly up to no good.

Just from this trailer alone, this film seems to be an epic battle of cosmic proportions, whetting our appetite for 'Avengers: Infinity War'.

‘Thor: Ragnarok’ opens in theatres 2 November 2017.
