Digi-Destined Are You Ready For One Last Adventure With Taichi & Co.?!

For those of you who grew up with the first season of ‘Digimon Adventure’, it is time for us to have a proper closure with ‘DIGIMON ADVENTURE: LAST EVOLUTION KIZUNA’. For the 20th anniversary of ‘Digimon Adventure’, TOEI Animation will be releasing a final movie with the original Digi-destined as they start to grow into adults and will forever lose the connections with their Digimon partner. As someone who grew up with the first Digimon animation, my tears started to well up when Agumon said in the trailer,’Taichi when you grow up, will we no longer be together?’

In this trailer, we get to see more of the plot in the upcoming movie but it was checkmate for me when the theme song ‘Butterfly’ by Koji Wada was playing as the BGM. All the memories and nostalgia came out all at once.

For all “Digi-Destined” who have walked with Digimon.
