Directed by Ben Wheatley, the romantic thriller film, ’Rebecca’ is a film adaption of Daphne du Maurier’s 1938 novel about a young woman who marries a wealthy man whose first wife has died under mysterious circumstances.
Starring Lily James, Armie Hammer and Kirsten Scott Thomas, the story has been adapted to several films, including the iconic 1940’s Oscar-winning version by Alfred Hitchcock. So these are quite big shoes to fill… no pressure, no pressure.
