The highly-anticipated Game of Thrones' prequel trilogy – House of the Dragon – has dropped an official teaser and release date!
The ten-episode HBO Original drama will debut the same time as the U.S. on Monday, August 22 on HBO GO. It is based on George R.R. Martin’s “Fire & Blood” the series, set 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones, and tells the story of House Targaryen.

House of the Dragon stars Paddy Considine, Matt Smith, Olivia Cooke, Emma D’Arcy, Steve Toussaint, Eve Best, Fabien Frankel, Sonoya Mizuno, and Rhys Ifans.
