Hellboy Reboot Releases its First Trailer.

That’s right, Hellboy is back! Lionsgate released the first trailer of the upcoming adaptation of Mike Mignola’s classic noir-horror comic, starring Stranger Things actor David Harbour as the titular demon.
Neil Marshall who is known for directing violent genre films like The Descent and Centurion, takes over from Guillermo del Toro, who helmed the previous two Hellboy movies. The upcoming movie was originally intended for it to be the last instalment of the Hellboy trilogy, but will now be a reboot instead.
The trailer shows Big Red (aka Hellboy), working with the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense (BPRD) to help protect the world against forces of darkness. He is called to fight off a trio of rampaging giants where he meets a supernatural sorceress, The Blood Queen (Resident Evil actress Milla Jovovich) who is out to wipe out humanity.
The film also stars Ian McShane as Hellboy’s adoptive father; Hawaii Five-0’s Daniel Dae Kim as BPRD operative Ben Daimio; and Sasha Lane as Alice Monaghan.
Hellboy is slated to open InCinemas April 2019!
