Brace for impact. Check out this first trailer of Clint Eastwood’s Sully, starring Tom Hanks as pilot Captain Sullenberger.
The film tells the aftermath of the true story of pilot Captain Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger when he successfully landed US Airways Flight 1549 in the Hudson River after it struck a gaggle of geese soon after takeoff. His heroic feat became known as “The Miracle on the Hudson” thereafter.
The incident in 2009 made history, and Sullenberger was hailed as a hero for saving the lives of all 155 passengers and crew members. But various probes and tribunals came after when people started to doubt his actions to land on the river.
This trailer looks too exciting and it spells ‘Oscar’ everywhere.
Also starring Aaron Eckhart, Laura Linney and Anna Gunn this biopic is set to open InCinemas 8 September 2016!
