Take a look at the very first teaser trailer of ‘Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales’.
Johnny Depp returns for the fifth instalment of the Pirates of the Caribbean film series as the beloved Captain Jack Sparrow, but it’s surprising that he doesn’t make an appearance in this trailer. Instead, it focuses on the film’s villain Captain Salazar (Javier Bardem), an evil ghost pirate who is trapped in the Devil’s Triangle.
Unlike its previous films, this trailer seems to accentuate its eerie and dark tone, a contrast with the franchise’s slapstick fun. Perhaps it’s because the trailer debut was aired during the ‘Fear The Walking Dead’ finale. Or maybe because the focus this time round is on Capt Salazar instead of Capt. Sparrow.
