Leading actor Tay Ping Hui plays a fruit seller who is a mathematical whiz for he never makes mistakes in calculations nor mathematical problems. Out of his character as Wu Qishan, he believes that love should not be part of a calculation process where emotions and feelings should also stand a big part of it.

His co-star Zhang Yao Dong also agrees on having a relationship based on emotions. Citing good communication as the key, he hopes that he will be able to share everything with his other half. Contrary to his romantic-like, faithful self, he plays Wang Li’an, a lady killer with a glib tongue who seduces women with his charms.
Zhang pursues the both female leads namely Xin Sisi (Joanne Peh) as well as her best friend Liao Meihao (Kate Pang) in order to fund and support his business venture.
Besides building muscles for this drama, he had to learn all sorts of sports and recreations such as Tango, Zumba, Taiko drums and hitting the gym often to make his role as a fitness instructor more believable.
“Out of so many shows that I’ve done, this is one of the most tiring one as I had to spend a lot of time attending classes. Dancing for me was the hardest as I do not have any dancing background but always admired those who could dance so charismatically,” Zhang added.
Citing the scene where he cooks up a romantic candlelight dinner for Liao on the rooftop to be his favourite scene, he also hopes to be able to do the same for this future partner.
Liao, played by Kate Pang also enjoyed that memorable romantic scene she had with Zhang. When asked if she would like to have the same kind of treatment with her boyfriend, the bubbly actress replied ‘If yes, I’ll be really happy, but if there isn’t a romantic dinner like that, I’m also fine with it.’
The rising actress would not sacrifice her work for love just yet. “If we are still going on dates, I would still put my work as the first priority, but if I’m married and want to start a family, then maybe I might? It also depends on the financial stability too,” she continued.
Playing the new age cougar couple are Shane Pow and Tracy Lee who had to share a kiss for their very first scene on set. Though a little awkward between the actors, Pow shared that he was more afraid then bashful.
“My mind wasn’t thinking about the emotions, but more on instructions like 3 seconds later, turn right and all,” the 23 year-old actor revealed.
Pow seems to attract older ladies with his charismatic charm for his previous relationships all involved ladies who were older than him. Being totally fine with a cougar romance, he feels that women in this generation are more open to relationships involving younger men.
In terms of sacrificing for love, Pow still wants to build his career and hopes his other half will support him.
“I want my love romance to be a big part in my life, but should not be about everything that I have to make a huge sacrifice for it.”
A fun and enjoyable drama where age isn’t going to stop them from finding love. Starring Tay Ping Hui, Joanne Peh, Zhang Yao Dong, Kate Pang, Xiang Yun, Shane Pow, Tracy Lee and more!
