Pawn Stars Rick and Corey Harrison Met their Fans in Singapore!

More than 1,000 Pawn Star Fans packed Star Vista’s atrium today for the appearance of Rick and Corey Harrison, personalities from one of HISTORY’s most popular series, Pawn Stars. This is the Pawn Stars’ inaugural visit to Singapore, as part of the Pawn Stars Asia Tour.
Rick and Corey Harrison arrived at Star Vista at 1.30pm for an hour long meet and greet with their Singapore fans, much to the delight of the screaming crowd, who had been patiently waiting for the Pawn Stars’ appearance as early as 8am.

During their appearance, Rick and Corey bantered with hosts Glenn Ong and Yasminne Cheng, assessed items brought by the public, including a painting by Fritz Wagner and a vintage Louis Vuitton trunk, and ended off with photo-taking with 60 lucky Pawn Star fans.
“I was very excited to hear that the Pawn Stars are coming to Singapore! It is great meeting Rick and Corey, who make history alive, and making it alive here,” said Edmund Kwok, a lecturer in his 40s.
“I’ve been watching Pawn Stars for two to three years, and it is my favourite series on HISTORY. They are really charismatic and cool guys, and I’m so glad I managed to meet them in real life,” exclaimed 23 year old nurse, Siti Nuruhudah.
Prior to the Pawn Stars’ appearance at Star Vista, the duo went on a sightseeing tour in Chinatown on traditional trishaws. They visited the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple and Museum, sampled traditional Chinese desserts at Mei Heung Yuen Traditional Dessert Store, and had a casual chat with the owner of a local pawnshop, Nan Cheong Pawnshop.
