Carrie, the upcoming thriller-horror film based on Stephen King’s novel with the same name. Prom night should be the day of glitz and glamour but in Carrie, bloodsheds is inevitable.
Chloe Grace Moretz (who plays the same age as her character; 16) and Julianne Moore star in this horror remake about a girl with telekinetic powers. As much as I hoped this film will propel towards a sci-fi action movie, I’m equally excited on behalf of the horror buffs.

Who wouldn’t want some good magical powers? Be it pixie dust that thinkerbell has, or reciting wizard spells like Harry Potter, it sure is good to have some, isn’t it? Though I’m not too sure if I would take revenge on my secondary school bullies if I possessed powers like Carrie, I know I’ll be glad waking up to something new each day. Let’s just say for the sake of ‘karma’, I wouldn’t. Maybe.
Of course, who could forget this amazing promo stunt by Sony Pictures where a young lady (who is telekinetic) made a scene when a man spilled coffee on her laptop? The video immediately went viral and is has nearly 40 million hits on YouTube!
