Green Lantern
is inevitably going to have some incredibly amazing visuals that take place on other planet, pushing the limits of CGI, but we must not forget that there is something is some cool stuff taking place on our home planet as well that's made using practical effects. I am, of course, talking about Hector Hammond, who is played by Peter Sarsgaard. Most of the marketing has focused on the outer-worldly elements, including aliens like Tomar-Re, Kilowog and Sinestro, but now Hector has gotten his own poster.

, I'm not sure if it's the eyes or the half-cocked smile, but this is one seriously creepy poster. Hammond looks like he's filled to the brim with malevolence and it is all together terrifying. Even better, this is before his head balloons up to the size of a football field and transforms him from a normal looking guy into a true monster.
