Local Songstress Kelly Poon and Royal Pirates’ James Lee are New Ambassadors of dENiZEN.

Singapore star Kelly Poon, together with Korean band "Royal Pirates" member James Lee, have been chosen as the new ambassadors for American jeans brand, dENiZEN.
For this cross-culture collaboration, the pair did a one-day photoshoot at the dENiZEN studio in Singapore on earlier this November. Lee caught the eye of the denim brand with his dashing good looks, perfect-for-jeans stature and musicianship, while Poon was selected due to her strong regional appeal in the Chinese music market, and her famous long slender legs - measuring 1.1m. She finally met her match on the day of the photoshoot where her partner stands at a height of 1.9m.
Poon said: "What started out as a normal shoot, became a hilarious one, which I had to do lots of jump shots so that I don't look like a midget beside James. I am only 1.6m-plus tall, almost 30cm off from James’ towering height. We also had to match our positions in front of the camera in ways that made me look taller. Hence the session became really fun, as we had to do a lot of 'out of the box' positions. You will know what I mean when you look at the completed catalogue."
“We just knew each other for a day only, and she can already finish my sentences for me," joked Lee. He elaborates that she was fun to hang out, and offered him so much information about Singapore within such a short time, that he "wish he knew her sooner".
The Royal Pirates new album drops this Dec 1st, while Poon is busy preparing for her new album which is expected to be due in the first quarter of 2016.
