Scum Cinema to Present 2 Twisted Madness Films in December!

December is never a month of glitzy sharing and showy giving with SCUM Cinema. This month, expect two crazy twisted madness with cult films: Deathgasm and Death Race 2000!
The Society for Cult and Underground Movies (SCUM Cinema) is a Singapore-based collective of film fanatics. Look out for the bi-monthly free screenings of cult classics, ranging from kungfu, blaxploitation, creature features to anime and everything in-between!

High School is Hell! Metal-thrashing Brodie is an outcast in a sea of jocks and cheerleaders until he meets a kindred spirit in fellow metalhead Zakk. After starting their own band, Brodie and Zakk’s resentment of the suburban wasteland leads them to a mysterious piece of sheet music said to grant Ultimate Power to whoever plays it. But the music also summons an ancient evil entity known as Aeloth The Blind One, who threatens to tear apart existence itself. Their classmates and family become inhabited by demonic forces, tearing out their own eyes and turning into psychotic murderers…..and this is only the beginning!
It’s up to Brodie, Zakk and their group of friends to stop a force of pure evil from devouring all of mankind.

In the year 2000, America is a totalitarian regime on the brink of collapse. The most popular sport in this dystopia is the Transcontinental Road Race, where teams earn points for logging the fastest time and for mowing over the most innocent pedestrians in the process!! This year's competitors include Frankenstein (David Carradine), who is rumoured to be more machine than man, and the tough-as-nails "Machine Gun" Joe Viterbo (Sylvester Stallone). A resistance plans to stop the race.
