International singer-songwriter Jessie J dazzled with her powerful vocals and moving lyrics at the ‘Up-Close with Jessie J’ showcase last Thursday at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
The invite-only exclusive event saw over 6000 music-goers who screamed and danced along to Jessie J’s acoustic renditions of her top hits like ‘Price Tag’, ‘Domino’, ‘Flashlight’ and ‘Bang Bang’.
While there were a few audience members who were a tad shy to sing and dance along to the famous hit songs, many switched on the ‘torch’ mode on their mobile phones when the singer sang one of her latest hits, soundtrack from the Pitch Perfect 2 movie, ‘Flashlight’.

In between each song, the award-winning singer took some time to interact with the crowd; answering questions posed by her fans; and shared her musical journey with heartfelt advices, hoping to inspire the audience to never give up on their dreams.
A lucky fan even had the chance to realise his dream of singing a duet with Jessie J, though lyrics and tunes were improvised on-the-spot, both seemed to forge a good chemistry, receiving roaring cheers from the audience.

Despite the short hour-and-a-half showcase, Jessie J made our night a little sweeter, leaving the stadium a little more inspired.
