'La La Land' Sweeps BAFTA Awards Too

The hype for ‘La La Land’ does not appear to be slowing down. In the British Academy of Films and Television Arts (BAFTA) awards, won 5 awards, the most awards won by any film this year., out of the 11 awards it was up for. The categories it won are Best Film, Director, Leading Actress, Original Music, and Cinematography.

Other multiple wins are two for ‘Lion’ (Supporting Actress and Adapted Screenplay) and two for ‘Manchester by the Sea’ (Leading Actor and Original Screenplay).
