By Flora  /  20 Feb 2017 (Monday)

By now, you may or may not have heard of this tiny movie called ‘La La Land’ starring Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling. Directed by Damien Chazelle who, with his actors, have swept the major awards at numerous award shows including Golden Globes and BAFTA (British Academy Film Awards). In addition, this musical movie has an all-time record of 14 nominations at the upcoming Oscars 2017!

If there’s another name to note in La La Land’s credit, it’s cameraman and steadicam operator Ari Robbins.

In these behind-the-scenes clips below, you’ll see the incredible work and dedication by the team, most notably the unimaginable camera process to some of your (and our) favourite scenes!

Hint: It’s movie magic, no post-production edits!

Posted to Instagram by Robbins, this clip features the scene where Stone and her girlfriends sing and dance their way out of their apartment and onto the streets of Los Angeles.

That camera whip!
