First Look at Alicia Vikander as Lara Croft in 'Tomb Raider' Film Reboot.

Oscar-winning actress Alicia Vikander takes over Angelina Jolie as the badass, butt-kicking Lara Croft in the game adaptation film reboot.
Warner Bros. released photos of Vikander as Croft, sporting the character’s iconic khaki tank top and cargo pants.
Unlike Jolie's Croft, the Lara of the reboot is younger and has a different backstory. In the Roar Uthaug-directed film, Vikander plays 21-year-old Lara, a student and bike courier dealing with her father's disappearance. She ends up trying to figure out what happened, which takes her to a tomb located on an island off the coast of Japan.
Vikander is joined in the film by Dominic West (The Wire, Punisher: War Zone) as her father, Daniel Wu as a ship captain helping Lara Croft find her father, and Emmy-nominated actor Walton Goggins (Justified, The Hateful Eight) as the main villain.
