Tomb Raider Reboot has Found its Lara Croft!

Oscar-winning actress who starred in The Danish Girl and Ex Machina, Alicia Vikander will take on the role of the iconic Tomb Raider, Lara Croft.
Video games-to-film seems to be the next big thing for Hollywood after Disney live-adaptations. While many would have thought that the Star Wars: The Force Awakens star Daisy Ridley had it in the bag, Variety reports that Vikander was the frontrunner of its casting.
Norwegian filmmaker Roar Uthaug (The Wave) will be directed the film, and Graham King will be on board this project as the producer of the live-action adaptation of Square Enix’s popular video game franchise.
