GV’s latest Cinema and Café opens at Paya Lebar

By Edric  /  05 Oct 2017 (Thursday)

Golden Village has up the ante with the opening of Singapore’s first all-new  laser projection multiplex at the new Singpost Centre at the heart of Paya Lebar.  Golden Village Paya Lebar will open its doors tomorrow (6 October)!

GV’s new location features the latest in projection technology, comfy seats and a food options for food lovers.

Laser projection will make its début on the screens in all eight auditoriums at the 756-seat GV Paya Lebar. With a brightness of 20,000 lumens, the system provided by Barco Smart Laser Projection provides a far better picture quality that out performs traditional digital projections. The new system creates a higher contrast, clearer, crisper imagery and higher colour saturation, providing viewers with a far superior visual effect. This also makes 3D movies with more depth, adding to the movie going experience.

Golden Village has noticed our love for comfy seats since their introduction at GV Suntec and has since equipped all seats at Paya Lebar with ProBax seats that anatomically correct posture in the seat occupant, removing the slumped posture often created in foam-based seats.

GV Paya Lebar’s also introduced its latest seating concept in its 56-seat DUO DELUX hall, giving movie goers the option of enhanced privacy, and comfort. Its spacious leatherette seats are specially designed with the same ProBax technology that offers superior support. Each chair is also designed with the café in mind, allowing patrons to continue enjoying their drinks and meals while enjoying the movie.

Don’t let the in-cinema enhancements distract you from GV’s grab & Gold café.  Diners can enjoy a variety of local favorites and western dishes which can be enjoyed in the 35-seater café or in auditoriums during film screenings.

The menu exclusive to GV Paya Lebar offers a variety of savoury bites from Banana Fritters, Cheese Poppers, Beef Chilli Cheese Fries, Otah Samosa, to hearty meals such as Coney Dog Roll, Basil Cheese Pizza, Thai Chicken Basil Rice. The café also serves a selection of mouth-watering cakes and desserts including Lavender Wild Berry Cake, Blue Velvet Lychee Cake, Thai Tea Pound and Coffee Siew Dai Cake.

GV also plans to sell movie related collectibles and toys in the near future.
