Chris Hemsworth is widely known as the God of Thunder, Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. While he is not busy saving the earth as a superhero armed with a magical hammer, he can be seen saving more humans even as a mortal in the new Netflix film ‘Extraction’.

Produced by Hemsworth himself, alongside Marvel directors Joe and Anthony Russo, Hemsworth stars as a fearless black market mercenary Tayler Rake who is tasked to rescue the kidnapped son (Rudhraksh Jaiswal) of an imprisoned international crime lord. The deadly mission approaches the impossible as the underworld filled with weapons and drug traffickers.

The action-packed film was filmed in India and Thailand and marks the directorial debut of Sam Hargrave who previously served as a stunt coordinator and second unit director on Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame.
