She is the youngest artist to write and record a 007 theme song and the music is as grand as you’d think.
The singer uploaded the song to YouTube and it features orchestral arrangements by No Time to Die composer Hans Zimmer and Matt Dunkley, as well as guitar from Johnny Marr. It is produced by her brother and collaborator Finneas O'Connell, who also worked on Eilish's hit debut album, When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?
Eilish follows the footsteps of Adele and Sam Smith who performed ‘Skyfall’ and ‘Writing’s On The Wall’ in 2012 for ‘Skyfall’ and 2015 for Spectre respectively.
The film will be Daniel Craig’s fifth and final time playing James Bond. Directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga, it stars Lashana Lynch stars as Nomi, Rami Malek as Safin, Lea Seydoux as Madeleine Swann, Christoph Waltz as Blofeld and Naomie Harris as Moneypenny.
No Time To Die is slated to open InCinemas 9 April 2020. It will also be screened on IMAX.
