'The Boys' is getting a spin-off series!

By Rachelle  /  25 Sep 2020 (Friday)

Just under three weeks after the successful premiere of Season 2 of the popular Amazon original series, The Boys will now have a follow up spin-off series!

The new project will take place in superhero college and it will be written by The Boys‘ executive producer Craig Rosenberg. It will be set in a "America’s only college exclusively for young adult superheroes (or “supes”)" that is run by Vought International. The spinoff is described as an irreverent, R-rated series that explores the lives of hormonal, competitive supes as they put their physical, sexual, and moral boundaries to the test, competing for the best contracts in the best cities. Part college show, part Hunger Games — with all the heart, satire and raunch of The Boys.
The Boys  is a comic book series adaptation based on The New York Times best-selling comic of the same name by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson. The superhero series follows the eponymous team of vigilantes as they combat superpowered individuals who abuse their abilities. Starring Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Jessie T. Usher, Chace Crawford, Dominique McElligott, Laz Alonso, Tomer Capon and Karen Fukuhara.

Season 2 of the series is now streaming on Amazon Prime, with new episodes premiering every Friday.
