If you think Marvel Studios assembling their Avengers cast was impressive, wait till you find out who got pulled to star in Netflix's upcoming movie, Don't Look Up!
Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence of the Hunger Games fame will be leading a mammoth A-list cast consisting of Leonardo DiCaprio, Meryl Streep, Timothee Chalamet, Jonah Hill, Cate Blanchett, Matthew Perry, Ariana Grande, Himesh Patel and Kid Cudi.
Streep, Chalamet and Hill all have a history with Netflix, as Chalamet starred in The King and Hill starred in Maniac, while Streep will soon be seen in The Prom.
The sci-fi comedy will be directed by Adam McKay, the very man responsible for movies like Anchorman, Step Brothers, The Big Short and Vice. McKay will also be writing and co-producing alongside Kevin Messick, under McKay’s Hyperobject Industries Banner.
Don't Look Up follows two low-level astronomers who embark on a media tour to warn mankind of an approaching asteroid that will destroy Earth.
