The leading actors of 'PIERCE' will be in Singapore to promote the film!

Leading Taiwanese actors Liu Hsiu-Fu 刘修甫 and Tsao Yu-Ning 曹佑宁 will be in Singapore on 29 and 30 October to promote their film, PIERCE, by Singaporean filmmaker Nelicia Low.
They will take part in media interviews and share insights about the film, along with their experiences working with Low during various movie events.
Earlier in June, PIERCE earned Low the Best Director award at the 58th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, marking an achievement as the first Singaporean to receive the honour at the festival. The film was also presented at the New York Asian Film Festival in July and is scheduled for upcoming screenings at the Vancouver International Film Festival and Busan International Film Festival in October.
Starring a stellar cast including the aforementioned Taiwanese actors and Golden Horse winner Ding Ning 丁宁, PIERCE unfolds in Taipei and tells the story of a high school fencer, Zijie. When his beloved but dangerous older brother is released from prison, Zijie believes he is innocent and defies their mother’s wish to help him, only to realise the brother he has idealised might be a mere fantasy.
