Screaming fans greeted two of our local heartthrobs when Romeo Tan and Ian Fang appeared at VivoCity’s PUMA store for an afternoon of fun and games. As part of the PUMA FAAS campaign, the two media darlings interacted with their fans and the public with a slew of speed-related games.

The energy was high among the ecstatic crowd as they took turns to join in the fun in a bid to win PUMA vouchers and merchandises. Some were even lucky to walk away with autographed merchandises from the celebrities.

Activities include the PUMA FAAS Beats Celebrity Challenge, FAAS Memory game, as well as the Celebrity FAAS Dress-up Challenge. The FAAS memory game requires the players to arrange PUMA’s FAAS shoes in the correct sequence that was decided by Ian and Romeo in the shortest time possible. Two teams were formed for the Celebrity Dress-up Challenge, where the teams had to dress Ian and Romeo up separately in full PUMA outfits.

“Initially I was shy to approach both Ian and Romeo, but their fun and friendly demeanour quickly warmed me up! It was really entertaining when I played the FAAS Beats game and I even won a PUMA bag autographed by Ian!” gushed Regina Yeo, a 23 year-old student.

As part of their Year of the Speed Campaign, PUMA has developed their maiden game, the FAAS Beats game, which incorporates fashion, music and technology in one.

“It is a really novel way for PUMA to be introducing their Spring/Summer 2012 FAAS collection through an online game app. Such innovation allows products and apparels to be viewed by people all around the world at their own time and any location. It is the quickest way that one can get to know about the collection”, enthused Romeo Tan, MediaCorp actor.

Those who missed out on the PUMA Celebrity Challenge event can still have a chance to meet both Ian Fang and Romeo Tan at the PUMA FAAS Beats Festival, alongside other MediaCorp and Fly Entertainment artistes. The festival, taking place at Zouk on 13th April 2012, will also showcase PUMA’s latest Spring/Summer 2012 collection and crown the ultimate FAAS Beats champion.

Tickets can be obtained by spending more than S$100 at any PUMA store, or by being the top 50 scorers in the PUMA FAAS Beats game.

The PUMA FAAS Beats game can be played on PUMA Running Facebook page!
