Elizabeth Banks to Make Feature Directorial Debut with Pitch Perfect 2!

Elizabeth Banks who produced and co-starred in the 2012 hit musical comedy Pitch Perfect is set to make her directorial debut in the sequel, Pitch Perfect 2!

Banks, widely known as the zany role of Effie Trinket in The Huger Games series is going behind the camera once again for one of the anticipated sequels to come! Pitch Perfect has grossed $115 million worldwide on a $17 million budget and also had a soundtrack that sold more than a million units.

Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson, who also starred in the original, are likely to return, according to insiders.

We can't wait for the sequel and in the meantime, let's reminisce the sweet vocals by the Barden Bellas!
